Active Paws Rehabilitation & Fitness offers dog hydrotherapy and physiotherapy services on the Sunshine Coast. We worked with the client to redesign their exisiting website. The old website was missing important services, didn’t have clear call to action, contained out-of-date information and displayed stock images. The client recently purchased the business. Therefore, the new website had to be professional, fit with the client’s current branding and include detailed information about all services and products.
What was our strategy?
We began with a comprehensive audit of the existing website. Meeting with the client, we identified core business areas, preferred calls to action, and branding preferences.
Once we had a clear understanding of the services that the business offers, goals and what the perfect client looks like, we began researching. All of our websites and SEO campaigns begin with comprehensive keyword, competitor, and industry research. All content published on the website is written around keyword and industry research to help the website rank in Google.
Our strategy was simple, we designed a WordPress website that targets the right keywords and has a clean site structure. This allows for easy navigation by the user and encourages search engines to crawl. The content was optimised for SEO with eye-catching and engaging titles, contained keywords and provides information to the user about dog hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and fitness.
We built a mobile responsive website that is SEO optimised using on-page and technical SEO techniques. The website contains real photos of the clients facilities and puppy clients, adding a credibility to the brand.
To track rankings, we first measure them. This provides a solid understanding of the baseline keyword performance for the website. When we launch a website, keyword tracking software and Google analytics are configured to track and measure keyword and ranking performance.
Finally, we host and maintain the website to ensure that the website remains on the Search Engine Results Pages. Websites that experiences technical issues such as broken links, out-of-date software and slow page speed, are frowned upon by search engines. These are easily avoided with regular maintenance.
Where is this client now?
The redesigned website now contains updated information about the services and products offered. It’s currently ranking in first and second positions on page one for major targeted keywords. And contains multiple keywords ranking on page one of Google. As a result of being found on page one in search engines, traffic to the website has increased along with the average engagement time of a user spending time on the page. The website is receiving more qualified inquiries about products and services.
Getting great SEO results begins with excellent website design and navigation. The redesign of the website took approximately 10-12 weeks to complete. The original website remained online whilst the redesign was being developed to eliminate any downtime for the client.
The new website clearly tells the visitor what services and products the business offers. Has several call-to-action buttons and is visually appealing and engaging.
